The Hensel winery offers this beautiful blend of the white Burgundy varieties Pinot Blanc (=Pinot Blanc) and Chardonnay. This wine belongs to the estate's "Aufwind" series, which is characterized by freshness and fruit, uncomplicated wines for everyday use with aspirations. In order to keep the quality high, the grapes in the vineyard are first thinned out, the so-called "green harvest", which is intended to reduce the yield and allow the vines to concentrate all their power on the remaining grapes. When the harvest is selected again, only the best berries get into this wine. This two grape varieties are blended after fermentation.
The Pinot Blanc / Chardonnay Aufwind smells of white and yellow fruits, apples and citrus notes can be recognized, the bouquet is open and stimulating. On the palate it shines with its perfect balance, the wine is always fresh with a medium weight and has a nice fullness in the final. Enjoy it with vegetable dishes, fish or light meat, everything with a cream sauce also goes very well here.
