Ventaglio is a single vineyard of Tenuta Argentiera, which is arranged in a fan shape around an old oak tree. The wine from this location is something very special, which is why the owner Stanislaus Turnauer decided to bottle it separately since the 2015 vintage. This is how the winery's Super Supertuscan was born. It consists of 85% Cabernet Franc and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, there are only about 2,500 bottles per vintage.

The Ventaglio is characterized by the highest possible complexity and structure, which are balanced with great elegance by its altitude. It is certainly one of the very best wines in Italy.

Falstaff magazine and Robert Parker's Wine Advocate are both at 96/100 for Ventaglio 2018.

Frank Rembold tasting note March 2023: racy Cabernet Franc seasoning, no barrique! Grandiose length without being wide, perhaps it is precisely the absence of the barrique that makes it so outrageously stimulating. Despite all the strength, the wine is fresh. Wow! The best of Tuscany in a long time. Stunningly good!.
