The second wine of San Leonardo, the Terre di San Leonardo in the beautiful 1.5 liter magnum bottle.
It consists of the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Carmenere and is aged 80% in concrete tanks and 20% in used French barriques. It does not require a long storage period and can be drunk with great pleasure as soon as it is released. The Terre thrives on its supple fruit and uncomplicated, lively style. Here you get a lot of the magic of the winery at a very reasonable price.
Wine journalist James Suckling awards 92/100 and writes: "Full of red and blackcurrant aromas, plus notes of mint & sage, as well as a hint of spices. The medium-heavy palate shows an excellent balance of restrained juiciness, healthy tannins and beautiful freshness. Still youthful."
