Taittinger Champagne Brut Reserve 0.75l

The Taittinger champagne house was founded by Pierre-Emmanuel Taittinger in the early 20th century. He ran this with his children Clovis and Vitalie. The company is still managed by the Taittinger family today.

The cultivation area of the champagne manufacturer extends over 288 hectares of vineyards, making it the third largest winery in Champagne. It includes 37 different crus and is certified as Haute Valeur Environmentale. This means that it is an ecologically very valuable asset.

On the calcareous soils of the Taittinger cultivation area, the Chardonnay grape variety is mainly cultivated. For this reason, the Brut Reserve consists of forty percent of this grape variety. It also consists of 35 percent Pinot Noir and 25 percent Pinot Meunier.

The Taittinger Brut Reserve Champagnes have no vintage compared to other sparkling wines. This is because the founder took it as an honor to produce a champagne with consistency and quality. To ensure this, the Brut Reserve is stored for three to four years. This allows it to reach its full aromatic maturity. The assemblage of the champagne will make you balanced and elegance. The fruity notes of the sparkling wine are not only noticeable on the nose but also on the palate. You can also taste a slight note of honey. These properties make the Taittinger Champagne Brut Reserve a suitable companion for any aperitif.
