Serendipity was or is the dream of Dutch Monique Breuer. The Pinot Noir lover has set herself the goal of producing Pinot Noir / Spätburgunder in six different countries.
The start was in South Africa in 2015, followed by the Pinot Noir stronghold Ahr in Germany since 2018, in cooperation with the Peter Kriechel winery in Bad-Neuenahr/Ahrweiler.
The result is this Ahr Pinot Noir 2019, which enchants with beguiling aromas such as cassis, black cherries, herbs and a hint of toast. On the palate it has power and charm, the fine tannin structure gives the wine support and freshness, the long finish is again carried by the cassis/cherry fruity notes of the fragrance. Independent and fine. It is the second vintage of this wine, 2019 was a first-class red wine year in Germany.
We particularly recommend this Ahr Pinot Noir with game and mushroom dishes. With its charming nature, it goes well with many dishes.
