In the style of the extremely popular I Muri wines, the focus here is on juicy fruit and a very soft taste on the palate. Sangiovese, originally from Tuscany, also thrives in the warmth of Apulia, on calcareous clay soil.
I like the bright ruby red color of the I Muri Sangiovese. It has a slightly redder berry scent than its aromatically darker brothers Negroamaro and Primitivo, with the same intensity, strawberries and sour cherries can be found here. On the palate, this uncomplicated red impresses with a remarkable fullness and length for this price range. Super soft and supple.
