The White Wine Train travels from the Rioja towards the cool north-west of Spain, in this case to Rueda. Bodegas LAN is no longer ignoring this trend and is launching its first white Rueda with the 2022 vintage. The Verdejo grapes come from their own wineries Los Llanos and Avutarda, whose vineyards are located at an altitude of about 700 meters, which is extreme for viticulture, and in warm Spain allow the production of fresh and elegant white wines.< /p>
The water-permeable pebbly soil allows good drainage in this rainy region, which ensures ideal growing conditions. Rueda white wines are the ideal partner for all fish dishes, summer salads and vegetable-based dishes. Their lightness and the attractive but not too dominant aroma of the Verdejo grape variety makes these wines ideal companions for many occasions and they meet the taste of many people. Aromatically, the Bodegas Lan Rueda tends from ripe white fruits to light yellow fruit, showing a mineral coolness and a lot of finesse. The wine is simply extremely drinkable. Lan's Rueda is superbly made, which is not surprising considering the generally high standard of this winery.
