The number 1086 is written above the entrance of the oldest building on Nyetimber and is used to designate the Prestige Cuvées, i.e. the best sparkling wines of the house. It is bottled as a vintage wine.
The rosé of the 2010 vintage is characterized by the 7-year yeast storage and the wooden barrel aging. The rather cool year has given rise to a fresh and aromatically complex wine that impresses us with its red berry Pinot Noir aromas and the fine Brioche note charmed by the yeast storage. The tremendously animating acidity inspires, it has a lot of pull on the palate and an enormous length in the final. A great sparkling wine experience.
