The Riesling Fundament from the Weingut Wageck with its fine peach and citrus aroma immediately makes you want a sip, the ripe fruit of this vintage and the minerality of the calcareous soil around Bissersheim in the North Palatinate set the tone here. Fresh and lively on the palate, good pressure in the extract, long-lasting, crystal clear and dead straight in the finale, the invigorating acidity ensures freshness and elegance. A great Palatinate Riesling with character, but also with more charm than in former vintages by Thomas Pfaffmann.
