The Ribolla Gialla vine was first mentioned around 1300, but was probably already cultivated by the Romans. It only grows in hilly areas, on the plains this variety would tend to produce very high yields. It is characterized by its rather intense scent, reminiscent of apple, grapefruit and exotic fruits, with a floral note. The name "Maralba" is made up of the first names of Roberto Felluga's parents, Marco and Alba. The wine is very juicy and balanced, it also shows a nice freshness in the final. A typical Friulian with its clarity and balance.
