Mommiano is the name of the vineyard in the municipality of Canale, in the Roero area, where this Barbera d'Alba by Marco Porello grows. It has a fruity style because it is aged without contact with wooden barrels. Red fruits and ripe black cherries characterize the scent, on the palate it has a lot of pull, a freshness that encourages drinking and a considerable length in the finale. It has all this liveliness despite its high maturity with 14.5% alcohol, of which you don't notice anything sensory. A great Barbera, which is actually far too cheap.
