Pernand-Vergelesses is an up-and-coming wine-growing community on the Côte-de-Beaune, whose mostly higher placed vineyards are definitely beneficiaries of climate change. Sure, Burgundy prices are common here too, but in relation to this they are still okay, especially with committed winemakers like Antonin Guyon, who created an enchanting wine with the 1er Cru Sous Frétille (=below the summit). that combines the charm of the excellent 2020 vintage with depth and finesse.
