The name Les Montroziers in Nuits-Saint-Georges goes back to an ancestor of the Faiveleys, Maurice Colrat de Montrozier. There are still some vines from the planting year 1928 and many from the 1950s to 1980s, so all in all a colorful portfolio of old Pinot Noir vines, which give this wine a very nice depth and complexity.
2020 was a sunny year, but the wines still impress with their great elegance. Classic structure at a very high level, everything in the best balance and designed for a long aging time. We strongly recommend buying the vintage 2020, the following vintage will not produce anything comparable.
