The AOC Moulin-A-Vent is considered the king of the Crus de Beaujolais. The most full-bodied, long-lasting and tannic Beaujolais wines grew here. They are very far away from the light, fresh and simple drinking wines that are also available in the region.

The Moulin-A-Vent Les Burdelines is the centerpiece of Laurent Perrachon's portfolio. The extremely high average age of the Gamay sticks here is around 80 years. On the one hand, this leads to a low yield, but on the other hand to boiling concentrated berries and later to very complex and dense wines that have considerable aging potential.

Like great Burgundians, Les Burdelines is aged in new barriques for twelve months. He then spends another three months in large barrels, where he is allowed to find himself together. The barrique gives it additional noblesse and complexity. Aromatically, Les Burdelines is darker than the other Perrachon wines. Power, substance and also an animating fruit charm can be found here, the noble wood note rounds off the wine additionally. This is Gamay at its best. This wine has a storage potential of at least 10 years, often significantly more.
