In the very south of the Côte Chalonnais, on the border with the Maconnais, lies Montagny. Known for the excessive declaration of 1er Cru vineyards, but also for relatively fair priced white burgundies with a high fun factor. 2022 was a sunny year that nevertheless produced highly elegant wines. A style that Burgundy fans appreciate.
The Montagny by Faiveley grows to a remarkable height of 400m, bringing coolness and elegance. 20% is aged in barriques, 10% of which are new. The final cuvée is created after 12 months of ageing, where the focus is always attached to clarity and freshness.
