The Malbec Reserve of Domaine Bousquet is produced from the best vineyards of the winery, located at an altitude of approx. 1200 meters, and aged in French barriques for 6-8 months. The 2021 vintage is a 100% Malbec for the first time, in the previous years smaller and smaller parts of other grape varieties were included. It is intensely colored, almost black, the fruit is reminiscent of blackberries, plums and cassis, with roasted notes from the wooden barrel and cocoa. On the palate it is gentle but precisely defined, thanks to the cool altitude it is excellently structured, the finale is very long. Organic wine.

Tim Atkin rates the 2021 Bousquet Malbec Reserve 92/100, James Suckling is at 91/100. A high praise in this price range!
