The Laurent Perrier Champagne Grand Siecle in the gift box is a very special champagne in which the art of assemblage is perfected. As a cuvée of the best vintages and the best locations in Champagne, it deserves special attention. The proportions of 55% Chardonnay and 45% Pinot Noir come from just 11 Grand Cru villages in Champagne. It matured on the lees for at least eight years and was bottled with a minimum dosage of 7 g/l.
The champagne with its fine, lively perlage comes with a brilliant golden color in the glass. The complex scent of citrus fruits, white flowers, honey, brioche and toasted almonds is contained in a refined way. On the palate it is full-bodied, creamy and harmonious, with a perfect balance between freshness and maturity. It reveals aromas of candied fruit, apricots, peaches, quinces and vanilla. It has a long and elegant finish with a touch of minerality.
Laurent Perrier's Grand Siecle is the ideal companion for festive occasions and goes well with seafood, lobster, caviar or foie gras. It should be served at a drinking temperature of 8°C to unfold its full splendour.
