The vines for Jackaman's Cabernet Sauvignon were planted in the 1960s, when Cabernet Sauvignon took its triumph in Barossa. It is named after Arthur Jackaman, who used to cherish and cultivate the vineyard with great attention to detail.
Langmeil has defined the Jackaman as its top Cabernet, to which the greatest possible care and 50% new barriques are donated. A intensive red wine with a full body, ripe cassis fruit and a beautiful toasty oak scent, which is reflected in a pleasant vanilla finish in the long finale. A Cabernet like velvet and silk.
