Jean Loron is a traditional wine house in the heart of southern Burgundy. It was founded in 1711. The focus here is on the traditional grape varieties of Burgundy, which is why Chardonnay is of course used for the white "JEAN". This grows in high-lying vineyards in southern France, where a certain coolness ensures freshness in the later wine.
This Chardonnay is vital, fruity, balanced and uncomplicated, making it a wonderful counterpart to the red "Jean". It has a light yellow color with greenish tinges. The scent is reminiscent of white flowers, citrus fruits, galia melon and a delicate mineral undertone. On the palate it is full of fruit and a round suppleness, the finale is surprisingly long on the palate. A perfect everyday wine that is enjoyed by a large audience. By the way, this wine can do that with a residual sugar content of less than 2.0 g/l.
