The red easy-to-drink variant from Mas Janeil is the les Hauts de Janeil. It consists of 80% of the noble and spicy Syrah grape and 20% of Grenache Noir, which provides body and softness. The grapes come from partner winegrowers and are processed into this delicious wine in the Mas Janiel cellar.
It has a beautiful dark red color. The bouquet contains dark berries, cherries, liquorice and raspberries. The taste is charming and smooth, the wine has just the right amount of tannin, which gives the fruit hold and makes the wine fresh. The attractive dark fruits show up again in the finale.
The les Hauts de Janeil is a universal food accompaniment, it is particularly recommended for Mediterranean poultry dishes, BBQ, pizza, pasta or cold appetizers.
