The Wechselberg is a south-facing single vineyard, which, due to its high altitude and the coolness associated with it, produces wines that are particularly rich in finesse and aromatically intense in ideal sunshine. The Grüner Veltliner Wechselberg by Birgit Eichinger roughly corresponds in style and weight to Federspiel wines from the Wachau. Spicy notes such as mint and pepper can be found here, along with stone fruit, everything is aromatically cool and clear. Fresh on the palate, with very good extract and the best balance in the long-lasting finish. A very nice wine that can also be stored for a few years.
