The new vintage of the popular Fleur de Syrah from Michel Gassier.
The Fleur de Syrah has a dark garnet color. The scent is intense and is reminiscent of red fruits such as raspberries, strawberries and blackberries; you can also find violets, pepper and licorice. The taste of the 2021 Fleur de Syrah is juicy and fruity, with a good balance between acidity and tannins. The wine has a long finish with a hint of subtle wood from the nine months in barriques.
The Domaine Gassier Fleur de Syrah is a smooth and versatile wine that goes well with a variety of dishes. It goes very well with meat dishes such as lamb, duck or game, and pasta dishes and semi-hard cheese are also an excellent choice.
