LBV stands for "late bottled vintage" and, like its big brother, the Vintage Port, consists of different grape varieties from one vintage. The LBV wines are in barrels for between 4-6 years, i.e. longer than the Vintage Port. Due to the longer barrel storage time, LBVs are usually ready to drink when they come onto the market, but can also continue to mature in the bottle for a long time.

The name Anchor Port comes from the anchor in the logo, which was introduced by Dietrich Mathias Feuerheerd, founder of this Paotweinhaus.

The Feuerheerd LBV Anchor Port port wine has intense fruit, aromas such as cassis, chocolate and blackberries, and there is also a slightly herbal note. The taste is voluminous, with a fine sweetness and a revitalizing tannin structure.
