The red El Gos from Cellers Grifoll Declara consists of 100% Garnacha Negra (Grenache Noir) or Garnatxa, as it is called in Catalan. This round and juicy entry-level wine is a real pleasure to drink. It comes 100% from terraced vineyards at an altitude of 180 to 220 meters around the village of El Molar, which have sandy clay soils. It is fermented with natural yeasts in steel tanks, then the wine spends another three months in wooden barrels to round it off.
The El Gos from Grifoll Declara is a typical Grenache Noir, soft, full-bodied and with Mediterranean herbal aromas, plus fruit notes reminiscent of raspberries and strawberries. The finish is long and equipped with very delicate tannins and low acidity. A charming all-rounder and very delicate everyday wine for discerning connoisseurs and ideal for any party, as many people like it. Just open up and have fun.
