The Brut Réserve Crémant de Loire from Langlois, formerly Langlois-Chateau, is a decidedly elegant sparkling wine. It is made from at least 58% of the powerful, aromatic Chenin Blanc grape, plus the noble Chardonnay and the structuring Cabernet Franc. Around 10% of mature reserve wines are added to the current vintage to increase the aromatic variety.
The grapes for the Langlois Brut Réserve are of course meticulously picked by hand and, after pressing, fermented separately according to location and grape variety. The cuvée is then put together from these base wines and made into sparkling wine via bottle fermentation. After at least 24 months of yeast storage, this top Crémant is then bottled and put on sale. Experts are at work here!
