The Charmes-Chambertin by Benjamin Leroux was previously labeled as Charmes-Chambertin Aux Mazoyeres, which is no longer permitted since 2020. This designation served as an indication that the wine comes from the higher and better part of the charm. The 0.15 hectare plot is called Mazoyeres Dessus and is planted with Pinot Noir vines from 1965.
