The Tenuta San Leonardo winery owned by Marchese Carlo Guerrieri Gonzaga is one, if not the best address for red wines in Trentino. With the red wine cuvée San Leonardo, a groundbreaking wine was created in 1982, which is now a classic brand of Italian viticulture. The idea of the Supertuscan was transferred to the alpine region of Trentino. The result is a very complex Bordeaux-style red wine with a remarkable shelf life.
