Malle, Château de - Sauternes
Chateau de Malle not only produces an excellent Sauternes, but is also one of the most beautiful Châteaux in Bordeaux, which is underlined by the classification as MONUMENT HISTORIQUE. The history of the estate dates back to the 15th century, today's Château was built by Jacques de Malle, Parliament President of Bordeaux, at the beginning of the 17th century. Not only Sauternes are produced at Château de Malle, there is also a Graves vineyard, where dry white and red wines are produced. Today the Count de Bournazel, descendant of Jacques de Malle, is responsible for the vineyards. The quality of the wines has been at a very high standard for quite some time, and the de Malle can be described as a really inexpensive Sauternes .
