Domaine des Grands Rocs - Beaujolais
The Domaine des Grands Rocs owns 24 hectares of vines in the heart of Beaujolais. The estate used to be known under the name Domaine de la Motte, but in 2018 Eric Sorais, the new owner, changed the name to convey the new start in the winery to the outside world. The vines, which are 45-50 years old on average, are cultivated sustainably and the winery is also expanding into other AOCs, such as recently in Moulin-A-Vent, possibly the best origin in Beaujolais. Something remarkable is growing up here.
