The Brancaia Rosato (=Rosé) is made from 100% Merlot grapes from the winery. The grapes come from the Tuscany sub-region Maremma. The batches for this wine are harvested a little earlier than those for the red wines to preserve the freshness of this delicious rosé.
The must only stays in contact with the mash for a short time, which creates the bright salmon colour. Aromatically, it is reminiscent of a hint of wildflowers and watermelon.
The Brancaia Rosato is an ideal accompaniment to summer dishes such as salads, shrimp or seafood, grilled fish or white meat, with which this self-confident, intensive rosé goes well.
Again, as with the other Brancaia wines, the wine journalists are very impressed, Falstaff and James Suckling are in parallel here with 91/100 each.
