From a Riesling plot with old vines in the Rüdesheimer mountain of Rottland Peter Perabo from the Bischöfliches Weingut selects the "1960", named after the planting year of the vines. This top-of-the-line Riesling is on the quality level of first-class Grosses Gewächs and for its quality, it costs actually almost ridiculously little. The "1960" is an emphasized mineral Riesling with an enormous amount of traction in the very long finale, penetrating, multi-faceted and classically structured, delightfully "cool" in the aromas, ripe white fruits and a great extract.
