The Rüdesheimer Berg Rottland is regarded as one of the best Riesling vineyards , not only in the beautiful Rheingau, but in all of Germany. Its steep slope is responsible for an above-average high solar radiation and the proximity to the Rhine for a high temperature, one of the highest in the entire Rheingau.
The dry Berg Rottland Riesling by the Bischöfliche Weingüter benefits from the very warm vintage 2015, which brought wines of great abundance , but contrary to many other warm years, they have a healthy acid structure and thus, with all their abundance, taste very vibrant and animating. A wonderful wine, which can last in the bottle for a several years, but can also be enjoyed young.
