The Beaujolais Villages Terre de Loyse by Laurent Perrachon is from two different sites with different soils in good vineyards classified as "Villages". Here, too, the winery has the privilege of being able to work with very old vines, which gives the wine strength and depth. Here the Gamay vines are around 45 years old. Also important is the high planting density of around 10,000 vines per hectare, which forces the roots into the depths, which in turn makes them less sensitive to drought.

In short: very good prerequisites. The Beaujolais Villages Terre de Loyse benefits from these, especially in rather cool years like 2021. The wine shows aromas of red berries, such as currants and strawberries, plus a nice cherry note and some white pepper. On the palate it shows itself with a lot of elegance and mineral depth, it is fresh, precise and in the best balance. You can drink it young, but you can also store it for 2-3 years.

This delicious Beaujolais Villages is an ideal partner for cold cuts, milder cheeses, white meats, pizza, burgers and heartier vegetable casseroles.
