The Abtsberg is one of Maximin Grünhaus's three top locations. It is not better or worse than the Bruderberg or the Herrenberg, just different. Incidentally, all three GGs are sold for almost the same price, which shows their almost identical value.
The Abtsberg 2022 shows fruits such as apples, apricots, oranges and peaches, it is also reminiscent of wet stones, green tea and herbs. It is a highly elegant Riesling, as one would expect from Ruwer, but also incredibly powerful despite its lightness. Will provide great drinking pleasure for many years. In 2022 it is a little juicier than the Herrenberg, which in turn is the fresher version of the Grünhaus GG.
