The Villa Donoratico takes its name from a large estate that was once the feudal estate of the Florentine patrician family of the Serristori and now partly belongs to the Tenuta Argentiera. The Bordeaux grapes Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot are used here, which are actually very typical for the Maremma. The expansion takes place for the most part in tonneaux, i.e. 500l barrels made of French and Austrian oak, plus there are 20% barriques. The result is a top-quality red wine with international style and class, which is one of the best in its price range.

93/100 is from the Falstaff magazine. Quote: "Bright, intense ruby red. Finely spicy nose, of blackberries, cassis, rich ripening Cherries, delicate after roasted hazelnuts, Mediterranean herbs, also after dark chocolate. On the palate initially with fine melting, shows balanced acidity, in addition close-meshed tannins, clear fruit core on red peppers and wild berries underlaid with fine spice, has full pressure in the final."
