The Cerasuolo is a rosé or rosato from the Abruzzo region, which is always made from the Montepulciano grape and, due to its excellent quality, has the DOC status. Spinelli gives its Rue di Piane Cerasuolo a nice body and structure, creating a rather powerful rosé wine that has no problem with stronger dishes such as pizza, grilled fish or seafood. It has a bright cherry red color and an open fruity bouquet with notes of Maraska cherry and fine floral nuances. Good structure on the palate, but always very balanced, soft and long-lasting. A top rosato!
