Vigneti Zabu is an association of several wine growers under the leadership of the Farnese group. Filippo Baccalaro is responsible for the vinification , he's a specialist for modern production methods, equipped with the latest cellar technology. The wines grow above the Lake Arancio, where an ideal climate for winegrowing exists.
The Syrah came to Sicily in the 1990s, where it meets a warm climate in which this originaly cool climate grape also growas well, as everybody knows since the success of the Shiraz (= Syrah) from Australia.
The Vigneti Zabu Syrah is fruity, powerful and soft at the same time, in its balanced taste it shows much spice. A very nice wine at an unbeatable price .
