One of the best Primitivo in its class is the Gran Maestro, a Primitivo di Manduria D.O.C. made from very ripe grapes, which gives it its intense fruitiness and juicy opulence. It is partially removed in wooden barrels. An intense garnet red color. In the nose complex, with fruity notes of berries and plum jam, with spicy notes like chocolate, vanilla and tobacco. The palate is full and round, with soft tannins and aromas of red berries, herbs and coffee in the lingering finale. Glorious!
