The Montagny 1er Cru Vieilles Vignes got 30 percent new oak barrels at Domaine erthenet, which is clearly indicated in the fragrance. The wine copes with this effortlessly, the good extract and the complex fruit ensure balance and a very harmonious aroma. The great 2019 vintage (attention: small quantity!) does the rest, so that a charming white Burgundy has been created here, which is actually much too cheap. It has an ageing potential of several years.
