The Lagrein is the highest quality red vine that has its origins in South Tyrol. It produces dark-colored and powerful red wines, which can also be stored for a long time if they are of high quality.
In the very good and ripe and voluminous vintage 2022, the Cantina Tramin A very well balanced and concentrated Lagrein with ripe tannins and low acidity, the grapes from which come from the municipalities of Ora, Neumarkt and Tramin. After fermentation in stainless steel and concrete tanks, it was partly aged in wooden barrels. It has an intense scent of white pepper, violets, cherries and dark chocolate, a medium weight and a grippy structure typical of Lagrein. A very good red that has no trouble even with intense dishes.
