A rare blend of Bordeaux and Burgundy, i.e. Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Pinot Noir. This juicy, dry red wine was grown in north-eastern Croatia, in the Croatia/Serbia/Hungary border triangle near the Danube river. Josic is considered one of the best winemakers in Croatia, and the family also runs one of the best restaurants in the country.
The Josic Cuvée red has an intensely fruity nose reminiscent of cherries, raspberries and blackberries, the wood is perceptible in the background and very well integrated into the fruit. It is voluminous and soft on the palate, the fruity aromas of the fragrance are found in the long and balanced finale, along with some coffee, cloves and cocoa. A really delicious wine of the juicy, soft style.
