Farnese also owns two wineries in Tuscany one of them is Tenute Rossetti. The Poggio Civetta Chianti Classico combines the modern Farnese group wine style with the flavors and structure of Chianti, creating a rather soft Sangiovese, but it's drier than the southern Italian wines of the company Fantini / Farnese.
90% Sangiovese, 5% Canaiolo and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon are used, the wine is aged for 9 months in barrels of various sizes before being bottled. An ideal wine for those who are looking for a charming Chianti, providing a lot of drinking pleasure in its youth.
