The vines for the Chardonnay Vinai grow in the Vallagarina and Valle dei Laghi, north of Lake Garda. Alpine and Mediterranean influences dominate the climate here, giving the wines a lot of freshness, elegance and substance.
The must is fermented cool to give the wine its fruitiness, then part is aged in barriques and the rest in steel tanks. Before bottling, the best balance of both parties is determined so that the wine retains its lively nature and gets a noble flavor through the delicate wood influence.
The Bottega Vinai Chardonnay has a straw yellow color with a greenish tinge. The scent contains notes of apple, pineapple and peach, plus a hint of vanilla from the barrique aging. In the morning it has a medium body, lots of charm and low acidity. A very nice white wine that meets the taste of many people.
Gold medal Mundus Vini for the 2018 vintage and silver AWC Vienna for 2019.
