The Zweigelt Ried Lüss is the basic red wine label by Seewinkelhof Salzl. Lüss describes the vineyard, in Austria called Ried, north of Illmitz. The very good vintage 2018 gives the Zweigelt Lüss annice fruity balance. In addition, it is extremely soft and harmonious, with no edges, lots of fruit and little tannin or acid. The bouquet has an intense cherry flavor, plus some chocolate and cinnamon and a delicate herbs. This very typical Zweigelt offers the pure drinking pleasure at a very moderate price!
