The Vina Magna Crianza from Dominio Basconcillos comes from the steepest locations in the winery. It is the most elegant Ribera del Duero of the house, consisting of 90% Tinta del Pais (Tempranillo) and 10% shared between Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec in the 2020 vintage. The wine is stored for 14 months in new French barriques before being bottled . It shows aromas of blackberries and blackcurrants, cocoa and some toast. On the palate it is full and elegant at the same time, has soft tannins and a very long finish.
