The Grgic Plavac Mali grows in the two most famous vineyards in Dalmatia, the Dingač and the Postup on the Pelješac peninsula. It ferments without added yeast and is then aged in French barriques for 15 months. After another 2 years of bottle aging, it is then put on sale. So you take your time.

The Grgic Plavac is a more structured type among the red wines of Croatia, it has a certain tannic bite, as it occurs in Zinfandel from California. Aromatically it is reminiscent of cherries and cranberries, it is slightly in the direction of dried fruit, figs and coffee. An opulent wine that also has a structuring grip. One of the absolute top red wines in Croatia.
