The sublevel of the Tramin winery is the house's top selection of Pinot Grigio. The grapes for this selection wine grow in particularly privileged locations with a southeastern and southern orientation.
Traditionally, this wine is given time to mature before it comes onto the market. This Pinot grigio can also continue to mature very well in the bottle; 10 years of storage should not be a problem under the right conditions. It is one of the best you can find from this Burgundy vine.
2022 was a warm year with high ripeness, which produced round wines with juicy fruit. The 2022 Pinot Grigio Unterebner from the Tramin Winery impresses with its opulent fruit and delicate woody notes thanks to the partial aging in the 500 liter tonneaux. The aromas are reminiscent of hay, butter, tobacco and vanilla. The taste is voluminous and present, round and dense, as you would expect from a high-quality Pinot Grigio.
