The Stemmari Passiata consists of the grape varieties Syrah and Nero d'Avola. While the Syrah is harvested in perfect condition and fermented traditionally, the Nero d'Avola is dried before fermentation in order to achieve a higher concentration of the must, as is known, for example, from the Amarone.
The Passiata wine has an intense ruby red color. In the fruity schent aromas such as blackberries, raspberries and cherries are perceptible, including floral notes reminiscent of violets. Spicy notes and hints of tobacco and vanilla from the wood maturation of Syrah complete the wine. The palate is soft and velvety with elegant and delicate tannins, an excellent structure and a full body.
