The 1er Cru site les Murgers (also called aux Murgers) takes its name from the walls in the immediate vicinity. Considered one of the best locations in Nuits-Saint-Georges, it produces elegant and deep wines that share similarities with its northern neighbor Vosne-Romanée. Clive Coates M.W. les Murgers is one of the five best locations in the northern part of Nuits.

Dark cherry and blueberry fruit on the palate. Subdued, subtle oak. There is a fresh touch of spice and black pepper on the palate which leads to a very long finish. An extremely elegant Nuits Saint Georges with lots of potential. 95/100."
