The vines for Jackaman's Cabernet Sauvignon were planted in the 1960s, when the Cabernet Sauvignon took its triumph in Barossa. It is named after Arthur Jackaman, who used to cherish and cultivate the vineyard with great attention to detail.
Langmeil has defined the Jackaman as its top Cabernet, to which the greatest possible care is given and 50% new barriques are used every vintage. A full-bodied red wine with ripe cassis fruit and a beautiful oak smell, which is reflected in a pleasant vanilla finish in the long finale. A Cabernet like velvet and silk.
